Credit Analyst
Job Summary
The Credit Analyst is responsible for reviewing and interpreting credit and financial statements for current and potential borrowers and making recommendations regarding the extension of credit. Candidates must identify credit requirements based on funding methods, including commercial, consumer, SBA, FSA, and USDA. Duties include gathering and tracking financial information necessary for analysis, preparing and presenting results with customers, monitoring credit activities to identify potential underwriting exceptions, conducting on‑site visual inspections of properties and equipment, interacting with government agencies regarding guaranteed loan funding, and reviewing and maintaining all credit files.
The analyst will also assist in compiling data and drafting reports for management and the Board of Directors. Performs complex financial mathematical calculations and thorough reviews of all documents used and created in the credit review process. Most written work will be completed utilizing Jack Henry Silverlake and Excel.
- Hybrid work environment: weekly schedule requires a combination of on‑site and home office hours.
- On‑site: 3110 S Delaware Ave, Springfield MO 65804
- Full‑time: 40 hours per week
- 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday is standard with occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Moderate adjustments may be possible at the discretion of the hiring manager.
- Occasional travel during workdays required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- A minimum of two years of bank experience; or
- A combination of education, training, and experience
- Jack Henry Silverlake experience preferred
- Knowledge of government guarantee loan guidelines for structuring and funding is ideal
- Ability to create a home office that allows for the handling of private and confidential data, documents, and conversations.

- Excellent attention to detail and work organization skills
- Ability to apply and enforce regulatory standards for ethical behavior, confidentiality, and information security
- Ability to maintain productivity standards while working independently, with minimum supervision
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel or a similar program
- Strong organizational skills, including multi‑tasking
- Willingness to proactively cross‑sell bank products & services
