Scope of Position
Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Director of Finance & Accounting will be a key business partner responsible for leading the monthly/quarterly forecasting process, the annual planning process and the 5-year Strategic Plan. The role involves working day‑to‑day with Senior Leadership and Finance teams to analyze results, identify improvement opportunities, develop strategy, evaluate potential acquisitions, and set organizational direction.
PrimaryJob Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial functions including general accounting, internal reporting and controls, planning, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning.
- Lead the monthly/quarterly forecasting process, annual planning process, and the 5-year Strategic Plan for the organization.
- Oversee internal controls and company policies, month‑end closing, intercompany transactions, journal entry review, balance sheet account reconciliations, and analysis of future earnings and expenses.
- Work closely with management to ensure continuous financial improvement, including new product development, market competitiveness, quality/safety systems, new ventures and investments.
- Prepare weekly projected P&L, quarterly Board updates, and annual operating and capital budgets and cash‑flow projections.
- Provide financial reporting to management, parent company and Board.
- Monitor and analyze the organization’s financial condition and performance.
- Manage risk, including identification of key risks and implementation of control procedures, insurance program, and early warning reporting.
- Oversee pricing strategies to balance profitability with market competitiveness and value proposition.
- Drive improvements in financial reporting, KPI tracking and performance metrics to enhance decision‑making at all levels.
- Lead financial modeling and scenario analysis for major initiatives such as new product launches, partnerships and market expansion.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; MBA or relevant professional certification highly desirable.
- CPA is a plus.
- 10+ years of senior finance management experience in industrial manufacturing.
- Proven ability to serve as a business partner to business leaders.
- Experience with real‑flow environment, product costing and Lean manufacturing.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for executive and non‑financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, advanced Excel and financial planning tools.

Office environment located in Menomonee Falls, WI with remote work options.
Physical RequirementsAbility to remain seated or standing at a desk for extended periods, perform repetitive typing and mouse use, read and communicate documents, operate standard office equipment, occasionally lift and carry light objects.
