Position: Financial Services Admin Assistant - Tax Season Support

Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Services Administrative Assistant – Tax Season Support to join our finance operations team during the peak tax period. This role plays a critical part in supporting tax, accounting, and financial services teams by ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and smooth administrative operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the financial services and tax teams during the tax season.

  • Assist in preparing, organizing, and maintaining financial and tax‑related documentation.

  • Support data entry, reconciliation, and validation of financial records.

  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to collect required financial information.

  • Schedule meetings, manage calendars, and track deadlines related to tax filings and audits.

  • Handle confidential financial information in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Respond to internal queries related to documentation, invoices, and financial reports.

  • Assist with filing, scanning, and digital record management to ensure audit readiness.

Required

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.

  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Basic understanding of financial statements, invoices, and tax‑related documentation.

Experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, finance, accounting, or clerical support role preferred.

  • Prior experience supporting finance or tax teams during peak periods is an advantage.

  • Experience working in a corporate or shared services environment is a plus.

Working Hours
  • Full‑time, seasonal role aligned with tax season requirements.

  • Standard business hours, Monday to Friday, with flexibility for extended hours during peak periods as needed.

  • Hybrid or remote work options may be available based on business needs and location.

  • Working knowledge of basic accounting and financial processes.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines under pressure.
