Role DescriptionThis is a full-time Investment Banker role based in Manhattan, NY, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for a combination of in-office and work-from-home days. The Investment Banker will support and lead transaction execution, including mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic advisory engagements for middle-market clients.
ResponsibilitiesDay-to-day responsibilities include:
- Building detailed financial models.
- Performing valuation analyses.
- Preparing marketing materials such as confidential information memoranda and management presentations.
- Conducting industry and company research.
- Coordinating due diligence.
- Interacting with clients, investors, and other external stakeholders.
- Contributing to the development of strategic recommendations.
- Helping originate new business opportunities by supporting pitch preparation and maintaining market insight.
- Strong foundation in Finance and Investment Banking, with experience in transaction execution and capital markets concepts.
- Advanced Analytical Skills and proven ability to interpret complex financial and operational data.
- Proficiency in Financial Modeling, including cash flow projections, valuation (DCF, comparables), and scenario analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Due Diligence, including reviewing financial statements, legal documents, and operational information.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., MBA, CFA) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear presentations and client-ready materials.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Comfort working in a collaborative team environment and engaging directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
