Finance Director

In this position, you will be responsible for the financial activities of Ayming Germany. You will ensure transparency, structure, and sound decision-making foundations, and will be a central sparring partner for the management.

Your tasks

Financial planning & analysis

• You develop forecasts, budgets, and reliable financial models
• You analyze KPIs, recognize trends, and identify optimization potentials
• You proactively derive action recommendations for the management

Reporting & performance steering

• You are responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• You ensure transparency about the financial development and performance
• You keep an eye on cash flow and key performance indicators

Budget control

• You manage the annual budget process
• You track the performance and steer against deviations
• Risk management & compliance
• You identify financial risks and develop appropriate measures
• You ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and standards

Leadership

• You lead and develop the finance team
• You create clear structures and efficient processes
• Strategic & transversal finance topics
• You act as a business partner for the management and various departments
• You support our global organization with cross-departmental finance topics
• You bring structure to complex issues and constructively challenge existing approaches
• You provide sound financial insights as a basis for strategic decisions

Systems & tools

• You develop our finance system landscape further
• You actively drive automation and efficiency improvements

Your profile

• Very good German skills (C2) as well as fluent English
• Study in the field of finance, controlling or comparable
• Several years of experience in the finance/controlling environment
• Strong analytical skills and a pronounced affinity for numbers
• You think entrepreneurially and act as a true business partner
• You work structured, solution-oriented and bring order to complex issues
• You are patient in detail, but clear and decisive in implementation
• You have the courage to question and set new impulses
• Openness and willingness to learn new systems and tools
• Secure handling of common tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, DATEV)
