Position: AVP Corporate Development - Hybrid Role
Shape the future of financial services with CGL as the AVP of Corporate Development in a hybrid model. Drive mergers, acquisitions, and strategic initiatives while leading a high-performing team.

This is a vital national role within CGL’s Corporate Development team. You will oversee transaction execution, manage the Corporate Venture Fund, and prepare complex financial models and business plans. Your strategic insights will influence critical decision-making processes and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations for M&A activities and safeguard corporate interests

• Conduct primary research to identify and evaluate acquisition targets

• Develop detailed financial models and perform risk analysis

• Provide updates to the CGL Board on fund performance

• Support operations by monitoring portfolio company metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, or related field is required

• Over ten years in corporate development or investment banking

• Direct experience in mergers, acquisitions, and valuation preferred

• Strong Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables

• Ability to build and lead a high-performing team
