This position is responsible for managing the stop‑loss premium and revenue payment processes, reconciliation, reporting, facilitating onboarding/renewal implementations for client groups, while serving as a liaison between internal departments, carriers, TPAs, and brokers.
Our employees work a hybrid schedule. On the days we are not in the office, our teams are able to collaborate using video and screen sharing technology which means you’ll feel like you’re part of the team while also enjoying the convenience of working from home.
Responsibilities- Manage banking‑related transactions and records.
- Maintain financial logs ensuring financial information is accurately entered and tracked.
- Disburse money to Carrier, TPA, Broker, based on contract amount.
- Generate recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel.
- Notify payer of any discrepancies (under or over payments).
- Send late payment notifications and coordinate payment resolution.
- Reconcile premium and revenue transactions.
- Onboard new groups into department systems.
- Serve as financial representative in implementation calls with groups, TPAs.
- Maintain professional and concise communication with all shareholders.
- Additional projects as assigned.
Physical requirements include sitting, frequently speaking and hearing, and occasionally standing, walking, bending, crawling, kneeling and the ability to lift up to 25lbs.
Qualifications- HS Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid experience working with numbers and financial data.
- Ability to read, comprehend, interpret, and analyze moderately complex job‑related documents and financial records.
- Ability to multitask and complete tasks with absolute deadlines.
- Understanding of when issues should be escalated to a higher level.
- Must be able to promote cooperation in a team environment.
- Financial operations, accounting support, or reconciliation experience is very helpful.
