Bank of America – Financial Analyst, M&A
Responsibilities:
- Perform financial and statistical analysis.
- Lead financial structuring and transaction execution activities.
- Assist in performing business development and/or financial product advisory.
- Develop presentations and other materials for clients.
- Actively participate on client and deal teams.
- Participate in due diligence sessions and client meetings.
- Execute and advise on various M&A, IPO, follow‑ons, mandatory convertibles and exchangeable debt offerings, spin‑offs/split‑offs, debt‑for‑equity exchanges, recapitalizations, and private placements.
- Perform comprehensive valuation analysis using comparable companies and precedent transactions.
- Prepare client presentation materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents such as roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
Additional notes:
Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. 10% domestic travel required as necessary.
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Management Science, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Finance occupation.
- 3 years of experience in each of the following:
- Analyzing financials (using company filings, SEC, Bloomberg) and performing financial structuring and transaction execution activities.
- Developing and preparing presentations/client materials, internal approval memos, and marketing documents, including roadshow materials, confidential information memorandums, and rating agency presentations to execute transactions.
- Developing and maintaining financial models to analyze trends, including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, and cost of capital analysis.
- Conducting research using Factset, Capital IQ, or Bloomberg to analyze market data and competitive dynamics.
- 10% domestic travel required, as necessary.
- Annualized salary: $ – $ (subject to experience, education and skill set).
