Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited seeks a Credit Analyst in New York City, NY. 35 hours/week. Hybrid schedule:
Employee can work from home 2 days per week but must work in-office at least 3 days per week. Must live within commuting distance of worksite in New York City, NY.

JOB DUTIES:

Assist in the underwriting of new credit facilities in accordance with OCBC's policies and procedures. Assist in the presentation of fully completed and analyzed credit approval memos for submission to the bank's credit risk managers. Review and analyze financial statements, operating agreements, and cash flow statements of Borrowers, Guarantors, and other entities as necessary. Analyze financial statements and in modeling complex financial scenarios.

Understand and employ all policies and procedures of the Business Unit. Assist in the preparation of the written credit approval memoranda and ancillary forms for routine credit facilities. Partner with Loan Administration and outside counsel in the preparation, review, and approval of loan documentation to ensure the documents meet agreed upon business terms and satisfy the specific requirements of the appropriate credit approval authority.

Determine the proper risk rating for all facilities within an assigned loan portfolio and complete the required paperwork for any rating changes. Partner with Senior Relationship Managers to manage existing relationships and cultivate new ones. Obtain appropriate market information and complete due diligence process to support the proposed loan. Proactively manage the loan portfolio to identify and address problems to produce timely loan modifications and risk rating changes, as appropriate.

Conduct credit reviews on a timely basis to ensure there are no overdue reporting matters. Work on special projects as required. MIN. REQ.:
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role such as Loan Officer, Portfolio Manager, or Relationship Manager. WAGE RANGE: $ to $/year.
