Team Lead - Cash Management (f/m/d)
MEININGER Hotels is looking for a Team Lead Cash Management (f/m/d) to join our team and lead a group of 4 people. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all finance‑related questions regarding the assigned area/country, managing the purchase ledger and resolving queries on time to ensure all payments are made to terms.
Responsibilities- Support month‑end processes to ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year‑end close.
- Co‑ordinate and execute all payments of the Meininger Group.
- Post all business transactions with the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics.
- Record receipts and payments of customer deposits and refunds into hotel software SIHOT.
- Set up daily payments in the different banking software.
- Weekly recharge of collections from various service providers (e.g. credit cards, Pay Pal).
- Reconcile and monitor all Meininger Group bank accounts.
- Prepare and post inter‑company transactions in the ERP system.
- Perform monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts (clearing accounts).
- Maintain master data in the ERP system and produce reports for auditors.
- Support opening of new bank accounts and update bank mandates to banks.
- Respond to cash‑related auditor queries (group, tax, and local audits).
- Act as first point of contact for professional questions from other departments and external stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient processes and coordinate substitution in case of absence.
- Lead onboarding within the team and at Meininger HQ welcome days.
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Educational degree or relevant qualifications in Accounting.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures: HGB and IFRS.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel; MS Dynamics
365 required. - Excellent communication skills in German and English; other foreign languages advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to strict deadlines.
