Financial Analyst

- Funding Setup
:
Prepare job setup forms and coordinate with the Controller Office to ensure accurate establishment of codes. - Budget Review
:
Examine budget estimates for accuracy and alignment with required procedures and policies. - Data Analysis
:
Analyze financial information to support projections, reports, and decision making. - Report Preparation
:
Develop and present financial reports to leadership on budget status and projected outcomes. - System Entry
:
Enter budget requests into designated financial systems to support planning needs.
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 60‑minute lunch.
- Telework
:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part‑time (hybrid), up to 2 days per week after six‑months of employment. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Pittsburgh. - Salary
:
In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable.
- Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
One year of experience as a Budget Analyst I; or two years of experience in technical budget administration work, and a bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training. - Must meet the PA residency requirement.
- Preference for candidates who live within Allegheny County. If no eligible candidates live within Allegheny County, candidates who reside in other counties may be considered.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
