Dallas, TX. Remote work not offered. This position will work out of a private space at BFI’s coworking facility in Dallas. Within the first 3 months, spend 2‑3 weeks in the main Sioux Falls office; thereafter, an annual trip to Sioux Falls, SD is expected.

Builder Finance Inc. (BFI) is a direct lender to homebuilders and housing investors, launched in 2014. BFI offers competitive pricing, terms, and an industry‑leading customer experience.

Senior Loan Officer will focus on DSCR originations, serving as the front line with investors, brokers, property managers, realtors, and other sources. Self‑motivation and an entrepreneurial attitude are essential. BFI operates with a low‑cost, flexible balance sheet, and originations are retained or aggregated for eventual bulk sales.

• Drive DSCR originations from initial contact to closing.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date information in the Hub Spot CRM.
• Meet minimum origination targets and avoid meaningful client or loan buyer issues to retain employment.

Performance based compensation with potential for substantial bonus tied to profitability per employment agreement. Base salary (not a draw) and standard benefits also provided.

• Experience in DSCR originations is required.
• Self‑motivation, entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to work independently.
