We are looking for an experienced CTA‑qualified Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager to join a leading regional practice in Cambridge. This role offers a genuine forward step for a professional ready to further develop the corporate tax offering and manage an already significant advisory portfolio of corporate, OMB, SME and multinational clients.

The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a team, grow the Corporate Tax business, and work closely with partners. They will be commercially minded, confident dealing with entrepreneurial clients, and capable of providing technical back‑up to partners.

The role focuses on providing proactive advice throughout a client’s life cycle, including demergers, restructuring, share schemes, and supporting tax compliance obligations.

The firm has a flexible hybrid system that allows working from home up to three days a week.

• Group reorganisations and restructuring activities
• Tax assistance with acquisitions and disposals
• Introduction of share schemes and related work
• SEIS/EIS advice and advanced assurance applications
• Cross‑border and overseas tax issues for UK entities (including working alongside foreign advisors within our global network or outside it)
• Capital tax reviews and planning for high net‑worth individuals relating to corporate share ownership in complex entities or groups
• Corporate tax compliance reviews on higher‑risk or large cases
• Large or higher‑risk capital allowance projects and analysis
• Involvement in business valuation as part of tax projects or standalone valuation assignments
