Financial Analyst

Canon U.S.A. Inc., headquartered in Melville, NY seeks a Financial Analyst (Analyst, Financial) for its Corporate Finance division. The analyst will manage daily financial transactions, bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, budget support, and monitoring subsidiary financial operations, while also supporting various projects.

This is a full‑time position with a hybrid work schedule. Employees are expected to be in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and may work from home the remaining days unless a business need requires additional in‑office attendance.

• Reconcile cash accounts daily and prepare daily cash position
• Manage communications with banks on daily investments
• Prepare daily, monthly, and quarterly journal entries for expense allocation and accruals
• Monitor departmental and product‑division expenses through internal reporting
• Perform analytics related to cash flow, forecast, and collections
• Maintain and reconcile inter‑company loans weekly
• Reconcile and prepare bank accounts monthly
• Manage bank fees
• Develop and maintain KPIs
• Provide support for Canon’s budget submission
• Gather, analyze, and prepare recommendations for financial requirements and operating forecasts
• Assist in development and implementation of financial concepts for cash‑flow planning and control
• Additional responsibilities as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience
• Experience in forecasting market conditions and sales growth
• Knowledge of general accounting principles, budgeting, and computer systems
• Familiarity with Treasury Management Systems is a plus
• Proficiency with Google Workspace

Anticipated salary range: $66,300 – $81,550 annually.
