Role Description

The Financial Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in The Woodlands, TX, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, the advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess their current situation, and develop tailored financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and recommending investment strategies, retirement planning solutions, and protection products, as well as monitoring client portfolios and adjusting plans as needed.

The advisor will conduct regular follow-ups, provide ongoing financial education, and maintain accurate records and documentation. The role also involves prospecting for new clients, building long-term relationships, and collaborating with internal partners to deliver comprehensive, compliant solutions.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to design and implement personalized strategies for clients.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills to analyze markets, evaluate products, and recommend suitable solutions.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare for long-term income needs and manage risk.
  • Relevant professional licenses (such as FINRA securities registrations and state insurance licenses) or the ability to obtain them within required time frames.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused and ethical approach to advice.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage time independently, and build a sustainable book of business.
  • Prior experience in financial services, wealth management, or client advisory roles is beneficial.
