This Mortgage Loan Originator opportunity is based out of our Sandy Springs, Georgia branch, serving the Atlanta Metro market, with the ability to originate loans across 21 licensed states
. This role is ideal for originators seeking high autonomy with access to experienced leadership—without micromanagement—within a well-established, full-service independent mortgage bank.

This branch is led by Rick Guerrero and Jerry Elinger, two respected mortgage professionals who actively originate loans, ensuring their leadership and guidance remain grounded in today’s lending environment.

• Rick Guerrero - Producing sales leader and national sales coach with the 20/20 Vision PLUS Program (Vision Your Success). Rick is a Southeast NAHREP leader, NAHREP 10 Certified Trainer Spotlight, and an advocate of the Hispanic Wealth Project. • Jerry Elinger – Senior mortgage and sales leader widely regarded as a trusted resource for loan structuring, creative problem‑solving, and scalable systems design. Jerry’s primary focus is ensuring that every originator in the branch receives the same level of white‑glove support, without leadership files taking precedence over theirs. With a deep understanding of guidelines and workflow efficiency, Jerry helps minimize friction, streamline pipelines, and remove unnecessary obstacles—allowing originators to stay focused on relationships and production.

• Delegated and non‑delegated correspondent lending
• In‑house Construction‑to‑Permanent financing

This opportunity allows qualified originators to originate loans in 21 licensed states

• Complete loan applications via in‑person, phone, or electronic methods
• Verify accuracy and completeness of loan files in Encompass
• Obtain required documentation and disclosures in compliance with guidelines
• Accurately price loans and manage rate locks
• Maintain professional communication throughout the loan process
• Build and maintain relationships with referral partners (realtors, builders, title companies, etc.)
• Meet or exceed production goals
• Stay current on loan products, guidelines, and market trends
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Minimum two (2) years of recent mortgage sales experience
• Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, FNMA, and FHLMC products
• Proficiency with Encompass and Microsoft Outlook
• Strong communication, organizational, and financial skills
• Ability to manage a pipeline independently
• Professional image and demeanor
• Commission‑based compensation in accordance with CFPB guidelines at 150 bps
