Senior Tax Analyst

Position: Senior Tax Analyst Hybrid Role
Join Black Diamond Group as a Senior Tax Analyst in a hybrid position. Drive tax compliance by preparing annual income tax filings and ensuring adherence to Canadian tax regulations.

This role, reporting to the General Manager, Tax, involves preparing T2 and T5013 returns along with tax elections. You'll maintain tax calculations and work closely with stakeholders for sales tax account setups. Your expertise will support compliance and enhance the efficiency of the tax function through refined data collection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare all annual Canadian income tax filings and tax returns

• Correspond with Canadian tax authorities for compliance issues

• Assist in tax audit responses for federal and provincial authorities

• Conduct sales tax research and internal inquiries

• Enhance tax filing processes through data collection improvements

Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant tax-related experience

• CPA designation preferred but not mandatory

• Knowledge of SAP Business One or Oracle Netsuite

• Strong data analysis and Excel skills required

• Excellent communication abilities for professional interactions
