Position Summary

The Treasury & Payments Solutions Specialist provides foundational, customer‑focused support for Treasury and Payments products and services throughout the sales and implementation process. This role assists with client onboarding, technical troubleshooting, and product implementation while proactively identifying client needs, including deposit and treasury solutions, and delivering timely, high‑touch communication. Emphasis is placed on providing a seamless customer experience by anticipating customer needs and providing proactive updates.

This role is designed for individuals seeking to build expertise in Treasury and Payments solutions through hands‑on experience and training while enhancing the overall customer experience.

Essential Functions
  • Deliver proactive, high-quality support by anticipating client needs and offering tailored Treasury & Payments solutions before issues arise.
  • Build strong client relationships through consistent outreach, follow‑ups, and consultative service to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Assist Treasury customers with the opening, maintenance, and servicing of deposit accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, and investment accounts while ensuring accuracy, timely processing, and a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with team members, Treasury officers and management in preparing agreements, collecting documentation, and ensuring smooth service setup.
  • Coordinate and guide clients through onboarding, ensuring an efficient, and positive experience from initiation to full implementation.
  • Provide engaging training and education tailored to client needs across phone, virtual, and on‑site channels to gain customer confidence and adoption.
  • Assist with determining exposure limits and completing documentation for ACH, Remote Deposit, Credit Cards, and other services, with a focus on balancing client needs and risk management.
  • Monitor and assist with troubleshooting for all Treasury & Payments products or services.
  • Maintain high-level, proactive, and professional care for Treasury customers and internal partners, consistently meeting or exceeding defined SLAs.
  • Shadow senior specialists during client training and implementation activities.
  • Learn and assist with troubleshooting ACH, Wire Services, and online banking issues.
  • Gain knowledge of ACH/NACHA rules, Reg E, and risk mitigation practices.
  • Complete required compliance training and adhere to all bank policies and regulations.
  • Support reporting and tracking to assist in identifying trends.
  • Participate in ongoing training to develop expertise in Treasury & Payment processes.
  • Pursue AAP certification within 3 years (preferred) to deepen industry knowledge.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements and special projects that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role. Complete required compliance training. Follow internal processes and controls as required.
  • Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in Bank policies.
  • Perform or assist with other job‑related duties or special projects as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year banking or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong interest in Treasury Management and Electronic Banking solutions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn banking software (Fiserv, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. Valid Nebraska Driver's License.
