Senior Finance Business Partner — Remote
Senior Finance Business Partner to join the Commercial finance team and support the Marketing and Growth teams. You will manage the P&L and Balance Sheet to deliver on the financial plan, support the business in strategic financial decisions, and challenge to improve performance. The role covers all aspects of financial performance and planning and will own end‑to‑end financials and controls for your business area.
Responsibilities- Single point of contact between the business and finance
- End‑to‑end ownership of the Growth and Marketing budget, including all costs and new customer growth forecast
- Build trusted relationships with the business leadership team, engaging with growth levers and profitability drivers
- Drive and optimise commercial performance of the Growth and Marketing Collective through actionable insights on acquisition performance, CAC, customer quality, LTV and payback
- Hold the business leadership to account for delivery of forecast performance and help them course‑correct and anticipate future risks and opportunities
- Lead the preparation of bottom‑up forecasts, short and long range, working closely with the FP&A team
- Explain actual performance to support FP&A and Investor Relations and create an appropriate narrative
- Contribute to the overall equity story
- Support building a competent and motivated team of financial analysts with clear objectives for ongoing development
- Lead business partnering for the specific area and represent the company’s commercial dynamics to the wider team
- Demonstrable experience in financial business partnering, preferably with Marketing or Growth teams
- Relevant professional qualification
- Strong financial modelling skills (advanced Excel, Google Sheets, Anaplan)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and trend‑identification skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, able to engage across functions and drive outcomes
- Ability to confidently present data in a meaningful way, tailoring presentations to end‑user needs
- Experience building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience building business cases and debating investment choices
- Hands‑on approach, supportive of colleagues, projects and tasks of all sizes
- Strong attention to detail and organisation, able to develop and streamline processes for efficiencies
- Experience with SQL, data analysis and forecasting tools
- Salary £84,200 – £99,000 plus incentive awards tied to performance
- Flexible working hours
