Edward Jones is seeking motivated financial advisors to help clients achieve their long‑term financial goals. You’ll receive industry‑leading training, a supportive environment, and a compensation structure designed to reward performance.
Key Responsibilities- Build relationships to create new clients via face‑to‑face and virtual sourcing strategies (residential, business, networking, introductions, referrals, social media, and speaking engagements).
- Deeply understand clients’ and prospective clients’ needs, priorities, and concerns to accelerate trust and create personalized, comprehensive strategies that help them achieve their goals.
- Oversee branch processes, roles, and responsibilities to ensure a high‑quality, streamlined client experience consistent with firm policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and ethical guidelines.
- Engage the branch team to create, monitor, and adjust the branch business plan to increase branch effectiveness and achieve desired business results.
- Create a highly engaging environment in the branch built on mutual trust, respect, feedback, and accountability.
- At least one of the following: bachelor’s degree or equivalent work‑related experience within the securities/financial services industry; financial services and/or sales experience; financial services registration, licensing, or certification; professional and/or military career progression.
- SIE (available without firm sponsorship);
Series 7 and Series 66 will be required; non‑registered candidates may obtain registrations during a paid study period at Edward Jones. - FINRA registrations required within three months; state insurance licenses will also be required.
- Ongoing training and CE requirements from the firm and regulatory authorities (FINRA and SEC) to keep licenses in good standing.
- Paid training to become registered and licensed; industry‑leading training program.
- Salary for the first five years while you build your practice.

Supplemental starting salary ranges from $45,000 to $100,000. Compensation includes trainee pay, supplemental salary for up to five years, commissions, and compensation for new assets acquired in the first five years.
