Responsibilities
Serve as the lead advisor within a dedicated client team, collaborating closely with a Wealth Advisor and Client Experience Specialist to build lasting relationships with a book of high‑net‑worth clients.
- Provide first‑in‑class client experience for onboarding, financial planning, and investor education.
- Collaborate with advisory team resources to grow and maintain strong long‑term relationships.
- Conduct comprehensive relationship management via phone, email, and virtual meetings, keeping engagement proactive and reactive.
- Retain assets under management and acquire additional assets through diligent communication, proactive education, and responsiveness.
- Act as liaison between clients and internal groups/departments within Empower Personal Wealth.
- Explain the ‘Personal Strategy’ investment approach; recommend, implement, and review strategies aligned with client risk tolerance and objectives.
- Discuss portfolio, market, and economic matters with clients.
- Provide holistic financial planning across retirement, income, tax‑advantaged savings, and education planning.
- Collaborate with Financial Planning Specialists on complex or comprehensive plans.
- Coordinate with advisory team and EPW stakeholders for client requests.
- Delegate, coach, train, and develop colleagues and resources as needed.
- Travel to meet clients face‑to‑face and build strong relationships.
- 10+ years of related experience in financial services and client experience.
- Demonstrated success with high‑net‑worth clients, complicated planning, NPS, and retention.
- Prior direct client contact with a professional, knowledgeable demeanor.
- Advanced knowledge of wealth‑management strategies, financial planning, tax and income optimization, and estate planning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Self‑starter, strong situational awareness, contextual thinking, and organizational and presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- FINRA Series
65 required; FINRA fingerprinting required. - CFP strongly preferred.
