Role Description

The Financial Advisor role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Boston, MA, with some flexibility to work from home. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, analyze current financial situations, and develop comprehensive financial and retirement plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include recommending suitable investment strategies, monitoring client portfolios, and adjusting plans as circumstances change. The role also involves preparing financial reports and presentations, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Financial Advisor will proactively build and manage a book of business through networking, referrals, and ongoing relationship management, while collaborating with internal team members to provide high-quality service.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Retirement Planning skills to develop and implement comprehensive client strategies.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments knowledge to analyze portfolios and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Candidates should possess Financial Advisory experience, including client consultation, needs analysis, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Relevant professional certifications (such as CFP, ChFC, or similar) are highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred not required.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in clear terms.
  • Proven ability to work with diverse clients in a non-discriminatory, inclusive manner and uphold high ethical standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort using financial planning software and CRM tools.
