DRS Associate

Mizuho is seeking an experienced Associate to join our interest rate and foreign exchange solutions and advisory team. The derivatives risk solutions team specializes in foreign exchange and interest rate products tailored to our corporate and private equity clients. In this role, you will gain insight into our global investment bank and experience a client‑focused, entrepreneurial environment.

The Derivatives Risk Solutions Americas team is a collection of salespeople and structurers dedicated to advising global corporations and financial sponsors on interest rate and foreign exchange products. The team works with global corporate and financial sponsor treasury teams to recommend and execute FX and rates products.

• Support senior sales team in structuring and marketing interest rate and currency derivative strategies to clients.
• Perform company and market research to identify current trends and opportunities.
• Model, structure, and price derivative products.
• Create market commentary on interest rates and foreign exchange markets.

• 3+ years of experience in a front‑office, derivatives‑related role supporting corporate or sponsor clients.
• BA in Finance, Business, Economics, Math, Statistics, or a related major.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Adaptable and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.
• Bloomberg familiarity is a plus.

Expected base salary ranges from $120,000 to $175,000. Salary offers are based on a range of factors including skills, training, experience, education, and certifications. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.

Other requirements:
Mizuho has a hybrid working program, with varying opportunities for remote work depending on role, department needs, and local laws and regulations. Some departments may have greater in‑office requirements.
