Remote Finance Director; Controller and FP&A

Role Overview

The Director of Finance leads strategic finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting business growth through budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, financial statement preparation, and compliance with GAAP.
• Oversee all accounting functions, internal controls, and audit readiness.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to inform strategic decisions.
• Analyze financial performance, develop KPI dashboards, and partner with leadership to improve financial results.
• Monitor cash flow, support strategic initiatives like pricing and market expansion, and assist with M&A activities.
• Manage financial systems, reporting infrastructure, and team development.

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance experience, including controllership and FP&A roles.
• Expertise in GAAP, financial reporting, and financial systems (e.g., Sage Intacct, Quick Books).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, with ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to adapt, collaborate, and work independently.
