The Senior Manager, Customer Finance is responsible for delivering customer-level financial insights that drive profitable growth and support strategic decision‑making. This role partners closely with Sales, Supply Chain, and FP&A to analyze customer profitability, P&Ls, trade investments, and cost‑to‑serve economics. The position serves as a key business partner providing actionable recommendations to improve customer performance, optimize resource allocation, and enhance overall financial returns.

• Develop, maintain, and analyze customer‑level profit and loss statements.
• Evaluate customer financial performance, including revenue, gross margin, trade spend, logistics costs, and net profitability.
• Identify drivers of customer profitability and recommend actions to improve financial outcomes.
• Support annual planning, forecasting, and month‑end performance reviews for key customers and channels.

• Support customer business reviews by providing financial insights and profitability assessments.
• Analyze new business opportunities and customer investments to ensure alignment with profitability objectives.
• Assist in developing customer‑specific strategies to improve revenue, margin, and return on investment.

• Prepare and communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual customer financial performance reports.
• Develop dashboards and analytical tools to improve visibility into customer profitability metrics.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support commercial and executive decision‑making.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across customer financial reporting.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to customer revenue, trade spend, and profitability.
• Monitor financial performance against plans and identify risks and opportunities.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of financial models, processes, and reporting capabilities.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 6‑10+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, Customer Finance, Revenue Management, or related analytical roles.
• Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Food & Beverage, Retail, or related industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of customer P&Ls, gross‑to‑net analysis, trade spend, and profitability drivers.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI, Anaplan, or similar analytics tools preferred.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.

The position will be based onsite in Walnut Creek, CA. We have a hybrid work structure with 4 days in the office per week and Fridays as flex days, allowing employees to choose remote work when appropriate.

The expected starting salary range for this role is $160,000–$180,000 per year. The final amount may vary based on location, education, qualifications, performance, and business needs.
