Genius as a Financial and Accounting Analyst, working remotely from the Maritimes. This role emphasizes attention to detail, compliance, and financial analysis to drive impactful results.

As a key player on our growing team, you’ll manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including transaction classification, accounts payable, and detailed invoicing.

Your role will extend to preparing financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and supporting the Genius Cash rewards program. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to establish financial strategies that align with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run daily accounting operations in Quick Books Online

• Manage and oversee invoicing complexity

• Prepare financial statements and month-end reports

• Collaborate on financial strategy development

• Conduct fraud investigations for rewards program

Requirements:

• At least 1 year in finance or accounting

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations

• Proficient in Quick Books Online and data analysis

• BA in finance or related field

• Organized self-starter with strong work ethic
