In this position, you will report to the Manager of Commercial and Agribusiness Credit Underwriting, focusing on commercial loans of $10 million and above. You will analyze financial statements and assess the creditworthiness of applicants to ensure sound lending practices align with regulatory guidelines. Your expertise will support local businesses and contribute to the sustainability of the loans portfolio throughout Manitoba.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and underwrite agribusiness credit applications

• Analyze financial statements and cash flow forecasts

• Determine loan structures and recommend risk mitigation strategies

• Prepare credit submissions with objective analysis

• Collaborate with Account Managers to enhance client strategies

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Business or related field

• 5+ years in commercial/agriculture lending

• Proficient in financial analysis and Microsoft Office

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with Manitoba’s economic landscape
