Analyst​/Associate, Credit Analyst JCBD

Overview

MUFG is recruiting for an Analyst or Associate, Credit Analyst in the Japanese Corporate Banking Division (JCBD) in Amsterdam. The role supports meeting deadlines for facility and borrower rating renewals, responds to urgent ad hoc requests from customers and Relationship Managers, and provides credit-related support including documentation for origination of new business. MUFG Bank (Europe) N.V. is a fully owned subsidiary of MUFG Bank, headquartered in Amsterdam, with offices across Europe offering financing solutions through Coverage & Structured Finance, Capital Markets and Transaction Banking.

• Submit credit and borrower rating applications and produce monthly and quarterly reports in line with global rules and deadlines.
• Provide high quality credit analysis and monitoring for assigned customers, including sector/industry analysis, to support applications and reports.
• Support credit transactions for Relationship Managers and other internal teams to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate with branches, primary offices, and the credit division to deliver transactions that meet customer needs.
• Undertake and support various credit-related tasks as directed by the Department Head, team leader, and senior management.
• Develop technical skills and industry knowledge, and understand MUFG global policies and Japan Corporate Banking Division procedures for EMEA.
• Input financial information and G-CARS entries for market risk transactions to build technical expertise.

• Experience in credit analysis and/or front office functions.
• Degree or relevant industry expertise; practical experience in preparing credit and borrower rating applications is preferred.
• Highly numerate with attention to detail, strong customer focus, and good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of MUFG credit processes (or similar in another organization).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work toward tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
