Strategic Finance Director - Ontario Nature

This strategic role reports directly to the Executive Director. You will oversee budgeting, compliance, and financial insights contributing directly to Ontario Nature's success. The Finance Director will bridge financial management with strategic planning, enhancing revenue forecasting and contributing to informed decision-making within the nonprofit sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management

• Ensure compliance through the annual audit process

• Partner with leadership to provide strategic financial recommendations

• Strengthen internal financial systems and processes

• Mentor finance team members and support their development

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in finance, especially in nonprofits

• Strong skills in financial reporting and analysis

• Familiarity with grants and funding management

• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities

• Demonstrated leadership in financial governance
