Location & Work ModelThis position will be located at our Office in Stevens Point, WI in a hybrid work model and is not a fully remote opportunity.

Responsibilities- Completing the accounting, processing, and reconciliations for various integrated systems for investments and separate accounts
- Applying appropriate accounting principles and ensuring proper recording, assembling, and documentation of accounting data
- Preparing reports and financial statements, completing analysis and communicating results to internal and external stakeholders related to our investments and separate accounts
- Validating daily trading wires and pricing processes for separate accounts
- Providing primary support to internal and external auditors for several key annual controls and financial audits
- Developing strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborating with them on special projects, which may include recommending, implementing and testing enhancements to investment and separate account software
- Assisting with support, maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement of our investment accounting and separate account software
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Accounting preferred)
- CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam desirable
- 0‑2+ years of experience
- Work with a high level of independence and exercise sound decision making
- Proven ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and meet deadlines with a high degree of personal initiative and self‑motivation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills or willingness to learn advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of or desire to learn investments, separate accounts, and insurance
- Hybrid work model:
Monday and Friday work from home if chosen;
Tuesday through Thursday in-office - In‑office workspace and materials for home office, and a laptop and equipment provided prior to start
