This full-time Financial Advisor role is a hybrid position based in Greater Philadelphia, with a mix of office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their goals, analyze their financial situations, and develop personalized strategies encompassing financial planning, retirement planning, investments, and risk management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing and presenting recommendations, managing ongoing client relationships, and monitoring portfolios to keep strategies aligned with changing needs and market conditions.
The role also involves educating clients on financial concepts, staying current on products and regulations, and participating in community and networking activities to build a sustainable practice. Collaboration with internal teams and adherence to compliance and ethical standards are essential.
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills, with the ability to provide comprehensive, client-centered guidance.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, including understanding of asset allocation, risk, and market fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning, including strategies for income, tax efficiency, and long-term security.
- Relevant bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred; professional designations (e.g., CFP®, ChFC®) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships and explain complex concepts in clear terms.
- Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and use digital tools and CRM systems to support client service.
- Licensing appropriate for financial advisory work (such as securities and insurance licenses) or the ability to obtain them within a specified timeframe.
