Position: Ontario Nature Finance Leadership Role
Drive financial integrity and strategy at Ontario Nature in the Finance Director role. This position allows for remote work, focusing on advancing conservation through effective financial oversight.

In this leadership role, reporting to the Executive Director, you will manage all financial operations, ensuring compliance and enhancing revenue forecasting. You will provide insights that guide the team in mission-driven decisions and improve financial systems and controls for effective management of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations including budgeting and payroll

• Conduct annual audits and ensure adherence to regulations

• Offer financial insights and support to the Executive team

• Develop strong financial processes and systems

• Lead mentoring for finance staff

Requirements:

• Significant finance experience in nonprofit settings

• Expertise in budgeting and financial controls

• Skilled in grants and restricted funding management

• Ability to communicate financial data compellingly

• Proven leadership in financial matters
