This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Vice President, Investment Banking - Infrastructure M&A Advisory based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex infrastructure advisory engagements and shape strategic outcomes for major transactions across global markets. You will play a key role in originating opportunities, managing deal execution, and delivering high-value financial advice to sophisticated clients. The position combines technical expertise, leadership, relationship management, and business development responsibilities. You will work on diverse infrastructure sectors, including energy, renewable power, digital infrastructure, transportation, and public-private partnerships.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead financial advisory mandates across infrastructure sectors, including renewable energy, power, digital infrastructure, transportation, and public-private partnerships.
  • Oversee transaction execution activities, including financial modeling, valuation analysis, due diligence, and preparation of client deliverables.
  • Manage transaction teams and ensure high-quality execution while meeting client objectives and deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with infrastructure investors, funds, corporations, contractors, and other key industry stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities and contribute to pitching, proposal development, and winning advisory mandates.
  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on complex infrastructure transactions and investment decisions.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop junior professionals while fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to deliver seamless advisory services across markets.
  • Strengthen the firm’s presence as a leading independent infrastructure financial advisor in North America.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives, internal training, and continuous improvement of advisory practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced investment banking professional with deep infrastructure finance expertise, strong transaction execution capabilities, and the ability to build trusted client relationships.

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in infrastructure finance, investment banking, financial advisory, or related transaction-focused roles.
  • Proven experience advising on infrastructure transactions from strategy and structuring through execution and closing.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, due diligence, and transaction management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex infrastructure mandates and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
  • Experience working with infrastructure funds, investors, sponsors, governments, or corporate stakeholders is preferred.
  • Strong business development capabilities with experience identifying opportunities and supporting successful pitches.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and develop junior team members.
  • Comfortable working with geographically dispersed teams in a remote environment.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
