As a senior member on the Optum Rx CPS FP&A team, you will report to the Vice President of Finance and serve as a financial advisor and strategic partner to top CPS business executives. This role is built for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple, competing deliverables, and who can independently manage an operating cadence, create clarity amid ambiguity, and consistently deliver executive-ready insights.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 7+ years of relevant, high-impact finance experience
  • 1+ years in FP&A, P&L ownership, or consolidation-type role
  • Proven excellent communication and organization skills
  • Demonstrated solid analytics background and attention to details
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in pharmacy, PBM, or broader healthcare environments (e.g., health systems, payers, or healthcare services)
  • 1+ years of people leadership including setting direction, delegating effectively, and ensuring high-quality team deliverables
  • Experience managing multiple, concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced environment, including prioritization and on-time execution
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems such as People Soft/Oracle
  • Background creating insight-driven financial analysis with executive-ready narratives
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative and cross-functional environment
  • Demonstrated solid business acumen with the ability to proactively partner cross-functionally, validate inputs, and synthesize information into clear recommendations
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, including leveraging evolving technologies to enhance FP&A processes and team productivity

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
