Your career opportunityThe Regional Business Support Specialist will join the RBS team in Cracow, providing support for the processing of credit transactions and related administrative activities for HSBC businesses across multiple European countries. The role is integral to supporting Relationship Management teams across Europe with credit-related activities.
What you’ll do- Conduct periodic credit reviews for an assigned portfolio of large corporate clients, including financial analysis and modelling, and assessment of industry dynamics, competitors, and market and environmental risks.
- Support Relationship Managers (RMs) in processing credit transactions, including credit administration and related activities.
- Assist RMs in monitoring financial covenants and compliance with approval conditions.
- Co‑ordinate with Credit Operations on limit set‑up, drawdowns, satisfaction of approval conditions, and collateral/security monitoring.
- Participate in client meetings and conferences as required.
- Deliver additional role‑related tasks as requested by RMs and/or the Line Manager.
- Liaise with customers and/or loan agents, to obtain information and resolve related queries.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Work with teams across HSBC to ensure timely completion of all required activities.
- University degree in one of the following fields:
Banking, Finance, Accountancy or Economics. - Solid experience in financial analysis, financial modelling and credit risk assessment.
- Experience with financial and risk tools and ad‑hoc client queries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated commitment to high‑quality delivery, with a professional, appropriately critical mindset and the ability to maintain excellent service standards for internal and external clients.
- Eye for detail, result‑oriented and like to work pro‑actively.
- Strong analytical capability, able to multi‑task and manage multiple applications concurrently.
The pay range for this role is 10 750 PLN – 14 000 PLN (monthly, gross).
Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
