Associate, Private Credit, Real Estate

Our Macquarie Asset Management Private Credit team invests in real estate debt and other private credit assets for institutional clients.

In this role you will join our global, high‑performing New York team, support the growth of our Private Credit platform focused on real estate credit, and contribute to sourcing, assessing, and executing new investment opportunities. You will manage existing portfolio assets and respond to borrower requests, helping shape investment decisions and supporting our clients and investment committees.

Salary range: $125,000 – $200,000 per year. Base salary may vary based on experience and other considerations. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award.

• Experience in real estate private credit or a similar credit‑focused role, including credit research, analysis, and writing investment papers and presentations.
• Strong technical skills, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach that supports high‑quality investment outcomes.
• Strong financial modelling skills, including building models and running sensitivities.
• Understanding of commercial contracts, financial statements, corporate finance, or loan documentation.
• A completed university degree with strong attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
