Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations
We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior Analyst, Private Credit Operations role with a highly successful investment management firm located in Boston, MA. The Senior Analyst will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of private credit investment activities while partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of private credit operations experience and a strong understanding of loan administration, investment operations, and private market transactions.
This is a permanent position paying between $95,000 - $105,000 base salary plus a bonus.
This role supports a hybrid work model, consisting of a minimum of 3 days on-site per week and 2 days working from home in Boston, MA. Candidates must be located in the Greater Boston area and be willing to work on-site at least 3 days per week.
Responsibilities- Support the full operational lifecycle of private credit investments, including trade execution, settlement, servicing, and loan payoff activities.
- Review private credit loan documentation and ensure key investment and operational details are accurately captured and maintained.
- Coordinate investment closings and settlements with custodians, fund administrators, and internal business partners.
- Partner with investment, legal, and operations teams to resolve transaction-related issues and maintain data integrity across systems.
- Support security setup, trade compliance, and ongoing private market operational processes.
- Monitor and reconcile investment-related data across internal systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with regulatory, investment guideline, and operational inquiries from internal stakeholders and external counter parties.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and scalability within the private markets platform.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects involving technology, operations, and investment teams.
- Provide additional operational and project support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree required;
Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred. - 5+ years of Private Credit Operations experience supporting private market or alternative investments.
- Experience reviewing private credit loan documents, including credit agreements, amendments, and payoff notices.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to analyze and manage investment-related data.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
