Identify and interpret insights from various data sources and communicate findings to management. Assist in underwriting strategy by optimizing risk-based profit & loss modeling, within proprietary lending platform. Includes developing reports based on performance data and helping to identify patterns of behavior.
What You Will Do- Mines and analyzes large datasets utilizing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Develops insights from historical loan performance data, identify swap-in opportunities to underwrite new customer populations, and develop credit solutions for customer base using various analytical techniques.
- Developing and refining reports working with data analytics team, underwriting, and operations team.
- Leverages custom score models for underwriting, pricing, and profitability.
- Forecasts performance and track actual performance against lending target.
- Collaborates with vendors, data science, and technology teams to ensure new strategies and models are implemented accurately and as designed.
- Creates/maintains Procedure and Program documentation.
- Conducts other ad hoc analyses as required to support team goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- Typically, 5+ years with bachelor's or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAS, and SQL.
- Experience with Python, Snowflake, Amazon S3, and Sage Maker.

Salary range: $86,000 – $145,000
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your location during the hiring process. Ranges may be modified in the future.
