The Senior Financial Advisor role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Johannesburg, with a combination of in-office and work-from-home arrangements. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand their financial goals, conducting comprehensive financial needs analyses, and developing tailored financial plans covering investments, insurance, and retirement strategies. The Senior Financial Advisor will provide ongoing financial advice, review and adjust plans based on changing client circumstances, and maintain long-term client relationships.

The role involves building and expanding an individual client network, prospecting for new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and internal policies. The advisor will collaborate with the wider IWCP team, participate in training and mentorship programs, and contribute to the growth and professional reputation of the practice.

• Strong skills and experience in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to design comprehensive, client-focused financial strategies.
• Competence in Finance and Investments, including understanding of investment products, risk profiling, and portfolio construction.
• Expertise in Retirement Planning, including long-term income planning, tax considerations, and protection strategies.
• Minimum of Grade 12 (Matric); a tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field is advantageous.
• Clear credit record and no criminal record, with strong ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with proven tenacity, resilience, and the ability to build and manage a personal client base.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an established or developing client network and strong relationship-building capabilities.
• Effective planning, organizing, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
• Previous experience in financial services, wealth management, or advisory roles is highly beneficial, though comprehensive training and mentoring are provided.
