Cost Accountant

SRG is currently recruiting for a  Direct Hire Cost Accountant  with a global manufacturing client operating in both  Mississauga and London, ON . This role has been created to support an existing vacancy and offers a balanced weekly schedule:  2 days onsite in Mississauga, 2 days onsite in London , with the  potential for 1 day per week working from home .

Responsibilities (Not limited to: )

Analyze production costs (materials, labour, and overhead) to help improve efficiency and profitability

Review and explain COGS variances and investigate any cost discrepancies

Support product and project profitability analysis to help guide business decisions

Maintain cost accounting and investment tracking in SAP, including budgets, internal orders, and ROI calculations

Assist with month-end/year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and work closely with Production, FP&A, and Inventory teams

Qualification:

3 plus years of relevant experience from manufacturing

Experience with SAP is a MUST havee**
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting- CPA or working towards an asset

Open to travel between Mississauga/London offices with Mississauga being the home office
