This is a full-time hybrid Financial Advisor role based in Ocala, FL, with some flexibility for work from home. The Financial Advisor will meet with clients to understand their financial goals, assess current financial situations, and develop comprehensive financial plans across areas such as retirement, investments, and insurance. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, recommending appropriate financial strategies and products, and conducting regular reviews to adjust plans as client needs evolve.
The role involves ongoing client relationship management, prospecting and networking to build a client base, and maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal specialists and utilize Northwestern Mutual's tools and resources to deliver high-quality, ethical financial guidance.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to design and implement comprehensive, client-focused strategies.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills to analyze markets, evaluate products, and construct suitable portfolios.
- Candidates should possess Retirement Planning skills to help clients prepare for long-term income needs and risk management.
- Relevant licenses (such as FINRA Series 6/7 and state insurance licenses) or willingness to obtain them with company support.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented approach, with comfort working in a performance-driven environment and adhering to ethical standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing time between the Ocala, FL office and remote work.
