** CFO, Lead Director – Ohio Rise
**** POSITION SUMMARY
** The Lead Director, CFO - OhioRISE will function as the financial executive for the OhioRISE plan, a specialized Medicaid managed care program focused on children and youth with complex behavioral health and multisystem needs. The role will lead financial execution, controls, planning, and performance management for a program delivered through Aetna Better Health of Ohio.

The role requires a strong execution CFO who can connect specialized behavioral health utilization, care coordination/CME performance, rate and contract dynamics, state reporting, medical cost management, and member outcomes into a clear current and forward strategic financial view.
** KEY

ACCOUNTABILITIES
*** Lead OhioRISE financial performance management, including close, forecast, planning, reporting, and risk/opportunity assessment.
* Develop a clear financial narrative that connects business performance, cost trends, contract dynamics, and recommended actions.
* Partner with plan leadership, Medicaid finance, and enterprise cross-functional teams to support operational accountability, contract performance, and sustainable outcomes.
* Support state-facing financial deliverables, audit readiness, controls, and timely response to internal and external requests.
* Drive financial insight on rate adequacy, medical cost trends, and affordability opportunities.
* Advance finance process discipline, governance, and collaboration across market and enterprise partners.
* Lead, coach, and develop the finance team, fostering accountability, growth, and strong execution.
* Build executive ready materials and strengthen financial discipline, analytical quality, and ownership across stakeholders.
** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
*** 10+ years of healthcare, managed care, insurance, finance, FP&A, or related P&L management experience.
* Demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, financial close, variance analysis, risks/opportunities, and key financial metrics.
* Experience partnering with senior business leaders to influence decisions, drive accountability, and translate financial results into operational action.
* Strong analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills with demonstrated ability to synthesize complex financial information clearly.
* Experience leading teams or cross-functional work streams with accountability for accuracy, controls, timelines, and stakeholder alignment.
** PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
*** Medicaid, Medicare or Commercial health insurance products experience
* Experience with Medicaid rate development, capitation, actuarial partnership, medical cost trend, MLR, quality incentives, state reporting, and contract compliance.
* Executive communication, financial modeling, scenario analysis, and ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, state-facing environment.

** The typical pay range for this role is:$ - $This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
