The Operations & Trading Specialist role offers broad exposure to Japanese equity trading, fund operations, accounting processes, compliance, and risk management within a hedge fund environment. Working as part of a small team, the position provides a long-term career path with the potential to progress towards a future Chief Operating Officer position. A hybrid working arrangement is available, with 2 to 3 days of working from home per week.
Responsibilities- Execute and monitor Japanese equity trades
- Oversee fund operations, reconciliations, and settlements
- Review net asset value, profit and loss, and fund accounting processes
- Support compliance monitoring and risk management activities
- Coordinate with brokers, service providers, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Strong interest in investments, operations, compliance, and hedge fund management
- Detail-oriented and proactive approach, with the willingness to take ownership in a small-team environment
- Applications are welcome from both junior and experienced candidates, including fresh graduates
- Experience in financial services, operations, middle office, trade support, fund accounting, or compliance will be an advantage
- Strong Excel and data management skills are preferred
- Interest in building a long-term career with the firm

- Salary: S $4,000 to S $8,000 per month, depending on current salary, skills, and experience
