What You'll Do

As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll guide borrowers through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives while building lasting relationships and growing your referral network.

Responsibilities include:

• Originate residential mortgage loans from application through closing
• Consult with borrowers to identify the best financing solutions
• Analyze income, assets, credit, and financial documentation
• Educate clients on available loan products and mortgage options
• Build and maintain relationships with Realtors, builders, and referral partners
• Manage your loan pipeline and provide consistent communication throughout the process
• Work closely with processing, underwriting, and closing teams to ensure smooth transactions
• Stay current on mortgage guidelines, lending regulations, and industry trends
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience from first conversation to closing day

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia NMLS License
• Strong understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loan products
• Excellent sales, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to build and maintain a referral network
• Experience with Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to succeed

Preferred Qualifications

• Established referral relationships with Realtors or other business partners
• Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and mortgage compliance
• Financial services or mortgage lending experience beyond loan origination
