Shining Star Consulting is seeking a Nonprofit Tax Manager to support our nonprofit clients with Federal Form 990 and various State compliance reporting. This is a part-time, fully remote position with flexible hours, reporting to our Director of Compliance. Compensation $55–$70/hour (SF Bay Area rate). Geographic adjustments apply for candidates outside the Bay Area.

• Competitive pay rate of $55-$70 per hour, depending on experience and home location. Geographic adjustments apply for candidates outside the Bay Area.

The goal of Shining Star Consulting (SSC) is to provide accounting and finance area support to nonprofit organizations in order to help them successfully carry out their missions. We offer a range of services including financial leadership, clarity, efficiency, and knowledge of finances, ongoing accounting support as well as Grants Management and 990 Filing services. Over time, we will work with the client organization to get their accounting records up to date and ensure the financial information is reliable and timely, and we help implement systems and processes to make the accounting more efficient and effective.
