Junior Execution Trader - Quant Job Singapore,Finance & Banking

Join our team as a technically capable and highly precise Junior Execution Trader to support our LNG trading team, across all trade execution, quantitative analysis, and process automation.

What role will you play?

You will work with live market data, orders, positions, pricing, and trading workflows where speed, accuracy, and reliability are critical. This position supports a global trading desk and will be an end to end role as a trader including monitoring orders, fills, positions, execution quality; reconciling trades, analyzing commodity prices; building tools to maintain position monitoring, market analysis; automating repetitive analytical and operational processes.

In this role, you will also need to cover London trading hours.

What you offer

Strong working knowledge of Python, particularly for data analysis, automation, time series and financial modelling, with advanced Excel and practical knowledge of AI
A background in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, physics or data science
A genuine interest in commodity and financial markets, with familiarity in futures, derivatives, forward curves, and spreads an advantage
Exceptional accuracy and the ability to validate data, calculations, code and AI outputs
Able to work in a fast paced environment and raise discrepancies promptly, being accountable for your work
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with previous trading experience an advantage.
