Associate, Global Trading Unit – Capital Markets

GIC is looking for an Associate/AVP Trader to join their Global Trading Unit in New York. This role involves managing execution risks and implementing investment strategies across various asset classes. The ideal candidate will have a solid trading background and strong analytical skills, working closely with portfolio management teams and leveraging data insights to enhance trading performance.

• Work closely with portfolio management teams to manage execution risks.
• Synthesize market themes and provide timely insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with research and tech teams to enhance trading strategies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with counter parties and liquidity providers.

• 2-5 years of relevant trading experience, especially in macro trading like FX, rates, or commodities.
• Ability to program in Python and a passion for data insights.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with good negotiation abilities.

• Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with a team-oriented mindset.
