The Financial Advisor will provide holistic financial planning and advisory services to individual and business clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed financial needs analyses, developing customized strategies for retirement planning, investments, insurance, and health care products, and presenting tailored recommendations. The role involves ongoing client relationship management, monitoring portfolios, reviewing plans, and ensuring that solutions remain aligned with clients' evolving goals and risk profiles.
The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal planners and support staff to deliver integrated, compliant, and client-centric advice. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the City of Cape Town, with a combination of on-site client meetings and office collaboration, as well as some work-from-home flexibility.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory, with the ability to deliver holistic, client-focused solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills, including understanding of portfolio construction, risk management, and market principles.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning, with knowledge of retirement products, tax implications, and long-term wealth strategies.
- Relevant professional certifications or progress toward recognized financial planning designations (e.g., CFP or equivalent) are beneficial.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Economics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
- Proficiency with financial planning software and standard office productivity tools, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
