The Financial Advisor role is a full-time position based in Port Elizabeth, offered on a hybrid basis with a mix of on-site and work-from-home. The advisor will meet with clients to assess their financial goals, risk profile, and current circumstances, and provide advice on financial protection, retirement planning, investments, and wealth-building strategies. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and presenting financial plans, conducting portfolio reviews, and monitoring client progress against agreed objectives.
The role involves maintaining strong ongoing relationships, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met, and keeping up to date with market trends, financial products, and legislative changes. The advisor will collaborate with internal teams to design solutions that align with Imvula Wealth’s commitment to integrity, accountability, and client care.
- Candidates should possess skills in Financial Planning and Financial Advisory to assess client needs and develop tailored financial strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Finance and Investments to analyze products, construct portfolios, and support long-term wealth creation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Retirement Planning to help clients design sustainable retirement income and protection solutions.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics, commerce, or a related field, with appropriate professional certifications or licensing required for financial advisory practice.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and client-centric mindset, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in financial services or advisory roles, and familiarity with South African regulatory and compliance frameworks, is beneficial.
