Maverick Trading in Atlanta, GA seeks a pairs/stat-arb equity trader to run market-neutral or beta-neutral strategies on US equity relationships. This is the most quantitative trader role at the firm, performing real statistical work beyond charts.
The role focuses on long/short pairs within sectors, baskets against ETF benchmarks, and divergence trades when paired names drift apart. ET alignment and non-co-located infrastructure are noted.
